You gotta feel bad for Doc Ock, you know? The man lost his wife in a science experiment gone horribly awry that also resulted in the permanent addition of four new limbs. From then on, we couldn’t help but sympathize for the poor, lonely doctor who just wanted his wife back. However, that didn’t mean we weren’t afraid of the terrible things he did to the innocent people of New York City and the price he would pay to defeat Spider-Man. Alfred Molina played an incredibly fearsome, yet sympathetic villain that certainly left an impression on Peter Parker for the rest of his life.
