High school isn’t easy, and it’s particularly rough when one’s father is a NYC police chief, boyfriend is a web-slinging super hero, and you hold a door-opening position at a prestigious, shady company employing a scientist that turns into a lizard.  Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy seemed to juggle it all and maintain a charming smile.  She sees the good in Peter Parker and beyond his creepy, stalker tendencies with a camera.  Gwen’s scenes are never boring to be sure.  It isn’t often that the female lead is a bigger name than the male lead in a comic book adaptation, but Stone’s popularity and charm come out every bit in Gwen just like her other memorable roles in Superbad, Easy A, and Gangster Squad.
