Immersion looks ahead
In anticipation of lower box office sales, both Hollywood and the independent circuit have a variety of genres to satisfy filmgoers in 2016. Immersion’s list of top twenty most-anticipated films of 2016 includes genres from all over the narrative spectrum: 4 fantasy, 3 sci-fi, 6 super hero, 2 animated, a horror, a crime-drama, and a couple comedies. In the age of “event movies” dominating the box office, 2016 appears to be the key year to indicate which movies people pay to see, and which ones are mostly downloaded, rented, or straight up avoided.
